A Sweet Girl with Many Adventures Ahead of Her (Yazmin's Portrait Session)

I never thought video could be something for me. Yes, video. I’m so accustomed to still photography that the thought of moving imagery was not even something that I’d consider. It seamed to me that it was one or the other... but not together. But then again, why not!

A few months ago I watched a workshop on CreativeLIVE about showreels and fusion video. When I saw how you can combine photography and video clips... I was hooked! There is something quite special and compelling about film. I knew I had to learn it right away. It has been a learning curve, and I love where it’s taking me.

This is a fusion video I made of a young girl in high school. Meet Yazmin, 17 years old, sweet, full of life, and with many adventures ahead of her.
